Klipsch Portable GROOVE

May 28, 2016

We had an opportunity to first listen to the new Klipsch portable Bluetooth GROOVE at the Consumer Electronics Show back in January 2016.  We were impressed with the punch and sound quality of this small, modestly priced offering and knew that this was an item that we needed to offer for road warriors, beach and pool devotees and the rest of us just looking for better than mediocre sound in a portable Bluetooth speaker.
Out of the box, this little guy feels substantial and decidedly not cheap like so much of the plastic fantastic stuff stuff that pretends to sound good.
Charging is via Micro USB and a full charge will keep this rocking out for about 8 hours.  Connectivity is via Bluetooth or a standard 3.5mm headphone input jack.
We took our demo unit for a test spin with R&B, jazz and vocals and our Ogden staff was nightly impressed with the sound that the Groove could belt out.
The Groove retails for $149.  For May-June of 2016, Klipsch has authorized a factory sale bringing the Groove to $129.

•3″ full range high excursion driver

•8 – hour rechargeable battery
